Philosophy
Life rarely unfolds exactly as we imagined. Parenthood, career changes, marriage, living abroad, loss or illness all ask us to step into certain roles to cope with specific challenges.
But at some stage you notice that the old ways of doing, being, and coping start to feel like they no longer fit. Where do I go next? What or who do I want to become? These questions can be extremely overwhelming, filled uncertainty and doubt.
But what if the very discomfort we want to get rid of is actually the doorway to our next chapter?
Many of us go through life learning to constantly adapt, fit in and override our own needs
which takes us so far way from ourselves that we don’t know what we want anymore. We
loose access to the calm version of ourselves who is able to embrace transition with
openness.
You are not lacking discipline
You don’t need to try harder or push more
You don’t need to be fixed
You need safety
‘Stillness in motion’ encompasses my philosophy that through stillness, we are able to
reconnect to the part of ourselves who intuitively knows what is right for us.
In stillness we reconnect to our strengths. Our resources. Our competence. Our wisdom.
Creativity is an integral part of this process because it is a space for non-judgement
expression, letting buried parts of ourselves come to the surface and activate our
imagination.
It is where stillness and motion can co-exist.
